New Paper in ACS Appl. Nano Mater.!

“Nesting Well-Defined Pt Nanoparticles within a Hierarchically Porous Polymer as a Heterogeneous Suzuki–Miyaura Catalyst” by Soobin Kim, Gábor Varga, Myungeun Seo*, András Sápi*, Viktória Rácz, Juan F. Gómez-Pérez, Dániel Sebők, Jeonghyeon Lee, Ákos Kukovecz, and Zoltán Kónya was published in ACS Applied Nano Materials.

As a result of international collaboration with University of Szeged, Hungary, the research team showed that block polymer-based porous polymers can be used as supports for metal nanoparticles that catalyze cross-coupling reactions in organic media. Solution-synthesized Pt nanoparticles-loaded porous polymers outperformed silica supportes in the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction.
