Macromolecular Materials Chemistry Lab (MMCL) aims to establish synthetic pathways to macromolecules with complex shapes and structures and develop polymeric nanomaterials for advanced applications and a sustainable future. We are particularly interested in how order and asymmetry can emerge from disorder in polymeric and supramolecular systems. Current subjects include architectured polymer syntheses, polymerization-induced phase transitions, postpolymerization modification, sequence ensemble, and supramolecular chirality.
