With Dr. Jihoon Shin (KRICT), Dr. Seo invited Prof. Marc Hillmyer (University of Minnesota), Prof. Keiji Tanaka (Kyushu University), Prof. Rong-Ming Ho (National Tsing Hua University), and Prof. Bruno Ameduri (Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier) from all over the world and held a symposium on May 21st, which was entitled “Future of Polymer Chemistry”. More than 100 participants joined this special event from KAIST as well as other institutions. The invited speakers gave lectures on the cutting-edge polymer chemistry and shared vision for future of polymer chemistry. This event was supported by KAI-X, KRICT, the Chungcheong Branch of Polymer Society of Korea, KINC, and CMCA.

We also had a graduate student symposium on May 20 having the invited speakers as panels. The symposium was co-organized by Jongmin, Jiyun, Haemin Jeong (KRICT), and Hyunho Lee (KRICT).
