Three research groups working on polymer science and technology joined together and took a journey to Okcheon for “2016 Functional Polymer Workshop”. The participating groups were Dr. Jihoon Shin’s group at KRICT, Professor Siyoung Choi’s group at the department of chemical and biomolecular engineering, KAIST, and of course, us. 18 Speakers in total talked about what they are researching and the room was full of serious, fruitful, yet funny discussion. Particularly, all of our group members had a chance to give a talk and for some of them, this was the very first presentation for a scientific community! After the talks we had an awesome dinner and tons of booze for all night long. Hope this workshop continues for a long long time.
